Elon Musk Expensive Car Collection - You Won't Believe What He Has

The founder of SpaceX, CEO of Tesla Motors, and co-founder of PayPal, Elon Musk has quite the penchant for cars.

From Porsches to Lamborghinis to Ferraris and McLarens, Musk’s car collection is unlike any other in the world today. Take a look at Musk’s insane car collection that you won’t believe!

Porsche 911

While Elon Musk’s personal collection of cars is one of his more well-known possessions, few have heard about what makes up his car collection. The entrepreneur has a collection that includes everything from a Porsche 911 to a Model S Performance. While Elon Musk may not be your average car collector, you can still follow in his footsteps and purchase some of these awesome rides for yourself. By creating these major companies, he proves that he is driven by what he does and always wants to push himself to be better than ever before. These are just some of Elon musk’s insane car collections. The entrepreneur has a collection that includes everything from a Porsche 911 to a Model S Performance.

Tesla Roadster

The Tesla Roadster is another cool ride that Elon Musk owns. This car has received many awards for its looks, but it’s also powerful and fast. While you probably won’t be able to afford a Tesla Roadster anytime soon, it’s always good to dream about your next awesome purchase! A few other notable cars in Elon musk’s insane car collection include a BMW i8, as well as a modified McLaren F1. If you want to see what else is in Elon musk’s insane car collection, follow him on Twitter or look him up on Google! You may even see some of his cars driving around town since he loves driving and oftentimes uses public transportation!

Pagani Huayra

Another car in Elon musk’s insane car collection is a Pagani Huayra. The sleek, blue paint job of his special version of his Pagani definitely matches Elon musk’s insane-car-collection taste for rare and expensive rides. This awesome vehicle has taken more than four years to design, making it another one of Elon musk’s insane-car-collection major accomplishments! At around $1.4 million dollars per car, owning a Pagani is out of most people’s price range, so make sure you start saving up if you’re interested in becoming a member of Elon musk’s insane-car-collection collection!

Mclaren supercar

The McLaren F1 is one of the most desirable cars in Elon Musk’s car collection, though it won’t come cheap: It can cost you more than $10 million. One model sold at auction in 2017 for $15.6 million, making it one of only 100 that were ever made. And there’s a reason why some models sell for so much money: The engine is made of gold and other metals, as are many of its exterior parts. Its body is also extremely lightweight due to its carbon fibre construction—it reportedly weighs about 2,500 pounds.

Another car that made its way into Elon Musk’s car collection is a McLaren F1, which can cost more than $10 million. It has an engine that’s reportedly made of gold and other metals, and its body is made of carbon fibre. According to HiConsumption, the chassis alone weighs in at only 174 pounds. It also has a top speed of more than 240 miles per hour.

Alfa Romeo Spider

Alfa Romeo

Elon Musk’s recently added his classic Alfa Romeo Spider to his automobile collection. The stunning red convertible features a 3-litre V6 engine, and 5-speed manual transmission and has been valued at $1 million USD. Elon is also known for driving a fleet of Teslas, which are currently some of the most popular electric cars on the market. His Tesla Model S boasts an impressive 691 horsepower under its hood, making it one of the most powerful all-electric vehicles in production today. Elon’s car collection also includes a Toyota Prius and Ferrari LaFerrari (worth over $1 million itself). All in all, he owns over 100 exotic cars! And that doesn’t even include rockets!

Elon also owns an F40 Ferrari, one of only 1,315 models built. It’s worth an incredible $1.3 million and has a top speed of 208 miles per hour! But his most expensive car is without a doubt his McLaren P1, which costs over $1 million. This supercar is incredibly fast, with maximum speeds of up to 223 miles per hour! Elon and his wife Talulah both drive Teslas as their primary cars, but they also have a fleet of supercars for fun!

As you can see from Elon’s diverse collection of automobiles, he is certainly not afraid to spend money on cars. The question is – what kind of car will he add next? Maybe one that runs off batteries?

Model S and X

Tesla’s current line of vehicles consists of two cars, called Model S and Model X. These cars are electric, which means they run on an electric motor charged by a battery instead of gas. The result is that there’s no exhaust, so your drive will be as eco-friendly as possible. Other benefits? Your Tesla won’t need to visit a gas station for many years, if ever (depending on how often you drive). Each time you do stop for a charge at one of Tesla’s Supercharger stations (which are located throughout North America), it’ll take about 20 minutes to get 50 miles back in your battery.

Tesla Model X

On a full charge, you can expect to get around 208 miles of driving range on a Model S. If you opt for a larger battery with an extended range, that number jumps to 335 miles, which is more than enough for most day-to-day activities. A Model X can hold up to 5 adults and 2 children in three rows of seating. The second and third rows are also foldable, so if you need extra cargo space for your items, simply push them down into storage. Elon musk insane-car-collection

Unlike many other cars, you don’t need to shift gears in a Tesla. A single gear on each car powers it up to speed. If you want to go faster or slower, there are two buttons on either side of your steering wheel that can adjust how much power you draw from your battery (one button slows down and one speeds up). If you want to accelerate quickly, press both at once. Elon musk insane-car-collection

Everyday Luxury Cars

Elon Musk is undeniably one of today’s greatest entrepreneurs. From Paypal to SpaceX, his name has been synonymous with innovation and advancement. After working towards his goals for decades, Elon Musk was born in South Africa, where he would later live until moving to Canada at age 17. While in Canada, Elon worked a series of odd jobs before graduating from college and founding Zip2, which he sold only two years later to Compaq for $307 million. That money allowed him to fund an even bigger project; Tesla Motors. Since then, Elon has gone on to found other companies including SpaceX (which sent a car into space) and The Boring Company (what else could it be?). With so many other companies under his belt, you may wonder what comes next?

According to Elon Musk himself, the fourth thing will be an electric jet. Well Elon, we can’t wait! In addition to all of that hard work and dedication, Elon also seems to have time for some fun. In fact, according to CNBC’s list of Elon Musk’s most expensive cars, he owns quite a few luxury vehicles! So if you’re curious about what exactly Elon Musk drives around in when he isn’t busy changing our world as we know it… keep reading!

The All-Electric Tesla Semi Truck

If you thought Elon Musk’s Boring Company was all about futuristic transport, you would be wrong. Today (Nov. 16), Musk revealed his tunnel-digging enterprise will also unveil an electric semi-truck in 2022, part of his larger plan to make vehicles more efficient and cut down on emissions. In a Twitter thread, he said The Boring Company has received verbal approval to build an underground tunnel connecting New York City with Washington DC, which he hopes can cut travel time between these two cities to just half an hour by rail. This may be a step toward making that happen.

Musk said on Twitter that The Boring Company will unveil a prototype for an all-electric Tesla semi-truck in 2019. It’s part of his plan to make transportation greener, and potentially faster—this tweet was in response to someone who asked why there are no tunnels between cities. In another tweet, he said a New York City to Washington DC tunnel could cut travel time between these two cities down from six hours by car or train to just 30 minutes by rail. (That’s 160 mph if you’re wondering.) This would be underground, of course. Musk also tweeted that he’s working with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on an even bigger vision: A 6-mile tunnel that would make it easier for people around L.A.

Final Thoughts

Elon Musk was born in South Africa to a Canadian-born mother and a father who had grown up in South Africa. His parents divorced in 1980, when he was just 10 years old, after being married for 8 years. His mother then left her kids with her ex-husband, Elon’s father and moved to Canada to get away from an abusive partner. In his 2007 biography written by Ashlee, Vance Escape says Elon didn’t meet his father again until he was 31 years old because his parents weren’t on speaking terms when he was young. The book says that Elon never graduated from college because of bad grades and felt alienated at school since it took him 3 tries to pass advanced placement courses that others seem to breeze through.
