Elon Musk just announced Tesla’s extraordinary new upgraded bot.
If you are a sci-fi fan, then you must have been familiar with the concept of robots; well, it’s not a concept. They exist in real life, but here we are talking about a robot that is based on artificial intelligence, and the real-life tony stark, aka Mr. Elon musk, is making this robot which is based on not just an ordinary ai,
but the ai that can help you in doing grocery shopping. Doesn’t it sound like tony stark making his vision is possible, but jokes apart from this The new Tesla bot can do manual labor grocery shopping, but these were just unprofessional works this bot can help the police in investing and patrolling.
The futuristic Tesla Bot is based on AI and can do the tasks that no other robots can, and when it comes to visionary projects and ideas. The only name that pops out is Mr. Elon musk. The guy is known for making unrealistic cars, spacecraft batteries software, satellites rockets, and even dogs. Well, those were not made by him, but he bought some really special ones.
However, this time, he again surprised the world with his new innovative project, the Tesla Bot. The original idea was shown by Tesla on their AI day this year. During the battery day, the company launched a prototype robot that Musk said is designed to do repetitive and basic tasks that are difficult for humans to perform.
Musk believes that the role the robot will play for humans is, in the long run; he stated that the foundation of the economy is labor and the Tesla bot has the potential to ultimately replace human labor over time. During the AI day conference, he said, I asked a friend of mine what we should optimize for, and he said gross profit per employee fully considered,
so you got to include the supply chain in that; in addition, he said that labor was the fundamental constraint, so there are not enough people, and I cannot emphasize this enough there are not enough people I think one of the biggest risks to civilization is the low and rapidly declining Birth rates, he added in his announcement that the future of physical
work would be a choice.
According to him, Tesla is also the world’s biggest robotics company. He said our cars are essentially semi-sentient robots on wheels, but honestly, people didn’t get what he exactly meant there, but regardless of when it comes to introducing new prototypes to technologies, Musk has shown again and again that his company is far ahead of the competition.
Additionally, Tesla unveiled a semi-truck in 2017 though its production has been delayed to 2022 due to the development of larger batteries. This time, Musk unveiled this humanoid robot which is designed to help with boring, repetitive tasks, and according to Musk, it could run to the grocery store for you but is likely to handle any number of tasks requiring manual labor.
The new Tesla Bot is a concept-free sleek a 125-pound human-like robot that can allegedly carry a capacity of 45 pounds and a deadlift capacity of 150 pounds. It uses Tesla’s automotive artificial intelligence and autopilot technologies to plan and follow routes navigate traffic, in this case, pedestrians and avoid obstacles; however, Tesla’s technology, including its extensive use of optical cameras, is based on this approach to innovation.
As a result, the vehicles, when connected to an ai brain, are supposed to navigate roads that are, in Musk’s words, designed for biological neural networks with optical images; as Musk sees it, it is a small step from the human-inspired robot on wheels to human-like robots on legs moreover during the 19-minute presentation tesla details the artificial intelligence upgrades driving its electric vehicles such as the dojo supercomputer which trains cars to navigate city streets without human assistance and the inference engine which essentially keeps all the neural networks to recognize the world.
The supercomputer dojo and Tesla chip in shiny black masks and white bodysuits just like a ninja; however, Musk said that the robot was not intended to help with Tesla’s manufacturing, but Tesla is developing a lot of the computers needed for robotics, and the Dion dojo engineers claimed the chip has a 7-nanometer manufacturing process, and it contains GPU level compute with CPU connectivity and twice the bandwidth of the state-of-the-art network switching chips that are out there today and are supposed to be the gold standard.
Therefore; it is logical for Tesla to make a robot as Musk said, we are also good at sensors and batteries, and we will probably have a prototype next year that looks like this so the tesla bot could function similarly to system software like Siri and or Alexa as an example, Musk told reporters that the humanoids should be able to understand commands like please pick up that bolt and attach it to the car with that wrench or please go to the store and get me the following groceries on that he said the kind of thing I think we can do that.
But apart from the good aspects, there are also a lot of orphan risks associated with tesla bots. Some of these include possible threats to confidentiality and autonomy if the bot gathers shares and acts on sensitive information or how people may think of and respond to humanoids or potential misalignment between ethical or ideological perspectives such as in crime control or protest management and more, and these are challenges that engineers rarely encounter in training, yet overlooking them can lead to disaster.
However, it is also possible for these threats to be as specific as people making unreported changes to robots that increase their performance and make them move faster than they were originally intended, for example, without thinking about the risks or as general as the technology being weaponized in novel ways, so this is the most valuable lesson that we can learn from dystopian robot future sci-fi movies as Tesla Bot moves from

however, talking about the price of this bot, several experts predict Tesla’s robot could cost ten thousand dollars or even more due to its advanced technology, and there may also be an upfront fee to purchase the robot followed by a monthly subscription fee so if Tesla spent enough money, they might be able to construct a humanoid robot with batteries actuators and computers, in fact, Musk has a record of achieving impressive engineering feats such as reusable rockets fully electric
self-driving cars and brain interfacing integrated circuits, all of which
investors questioned before Musk went public
But when imagining what the Tesla bot might actually look like, it’s important to note that Musk is no stranger to exploring uncharted territory in the engineering and tech industries, although it’s hard to guess how far society is from having fully functional robots doing our chores, it may be a long time before Tesla’s robots are delivering milk and bread on a daily basis even though Musk says a functioning tesla about prototype will be ready by 2022 and until 2026 it will ultimately help humans in colonizing Mars.
